In the Municipality of Panorama, the general manager of TV100

The former general manager of DEPTE, Giannis Kessopoulos, reportedly relocated to the upscale municipality of Panorama Hortiatis after leaving TV100. Before DEPTE, his coordinates placed him in the western areas of Thessaloniki and in the Delta Municipality, where he served as an employee in the press office. The immediate restoration of his position is considered positive; unfortunately, according to our information, Kessopoulos leaves behind DEPTE, an organization with many unresolved issues. However, what is even more striking is the behavior of employees who benefited from his tenure and now seem to have turned against him, which does not reflect well on them.

We found ourselves at the same gala with an employee of DEPTE who was shining less brightly than she appears on the glossy screen. Ignoring our presence, she expressed derogatory opinions about the former director. It is regrettable not only because it unfairly treats a fellow human being in the most horrible way but also because there is a possibility that these comments may reach the ears of her former superior.

Given that we understand how the television mechanism works and how the performance of each employee is evaluated, we add the following: It is obvious that she has not realized that she may be considered limited in other respects. Furthermore, it seems that she is unaware that, even when the contribution of a director to the public good is limited, gratitude remains significant when there is any form of assistance. Therefore, there may be aspects of the work or moments when the director has contributed positively, and gratitude is a way to maintain a positive relationship. However, spreading malice through comments and gossip by semi-informed and illiterate individuals can be considered, at the very least, an unethical approach.
